Welcome to your next vacation at Serenity Lodge, near the shores of Lake Michigan and the historic and charming Holland. This stunning custom log home is constructed of solid white cedar and is the epitome of rustic elegance, and has also been recently renovated and well appointed. Serenity Lodge is the sister property to Serenity Shores, which is located within easy walking distance across Lakeshore Drive 1000 feet to the north. These two properties are available together for summer vacations with extended family and friends, family reunions, and other special events. The Lodge is situated on 1.22 wooded acres on the east side of Lakeshore Drive and has a cozy and comfortable ambiance even though it is spacious with over 3200 square feet of living area. A vacation at the Lodge allows for you to enjoy the water in two different ways, as there is both a large 15x30 swimming pool with deep end, as well as Lake Michigan beach access within walking distance. Serenity Lodge can sleep up to 15 people, and has 5 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room has a soaring tongue in-groove ceiling, two story fireplace, stained glass windows, leather couches, and 40 inch LCD television with cable. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area have oak flooring, a large center island with snack bar, hickory cabinets, plenty of counter and storage space, built in desk, and triple French doors to large deck overlooking the park like backyard. The dining room opens to both the kitchen and living room, and has a dining table that extends to seat up to 12 people. A spacious laundry/mudroom is conveniently located right off the kitchen. Also on the main floor is a master bedroom, guest bedroom, and bathroom with whirlpool tub, shower tiled in stone and glass, marble counter, and heated tile floor. Upstairs is a wonderful and sunny loft area that overlooks the living room, two more large bedrooms, a special kids only room, and bathroom with 6 foot tub/shower and stained glass window featuring a sailboat. There is plenty of space to spread out as the walkout lower level has a family room and recreation room with pool table, air hockey, ping pong table, game table, television and sliding glass door to backyard. Enjoy the outdoors in many ways: on the rocking chairs on the large wraparound porch, swimming in the pool, lounging on the chairs in pool deck area that is fenced in for safety and privacy, playing games in the grassy and park like backyard, napping or reading in the screened in porch on chaise lounge chairs. Explore the extensive bike path system along with plenty of hiking areas. Serenity Lodge makes available for your use adult and youth bikes and a bike trailer that seats 2 small children. There are several parks nearby that offer beach access, playgrounds, fields and picnic areas.

KOUW PARK: This 3.7 acre park is located along 200 feet of beachfront on Lake Michigan at the end of Van Buren Road. 1.7 miles north of Serenity Lodge.
TUNNEL PARK: Along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, this popular 22 acre park. 3 miles from Serenity Lodge, just a short bike ride away!
OTTAWA BEACH STATE PARK. This park offers great views of ?Big Red?, Holland?s historic lighthouse. Located south of Serenity Lodge a 10 minute drive.
SOUTH BEACH ACCESS - 1500 FEET SOUTH OF CABIN AT CAMP GENEVA BORDER: This is a ?rustic? access within walking distance from the cabin.
NORTH BEACH ACCESS (Restricted) - 1000 FEET NORTH AT Serenity Shores: This is a private access reserved for Lodge guests only.
